No, Logitech Didn’t Reveal a New White Xbox Series X – CNET

Logitech showed off its Astro A30 wireless headset Thursday in a video, but it was what’s in the background that caught people’s attention.

A white Xbox Series X appears briefly in the promotional video, but, according to Logitech, this wasn’t a new console.

“In our promotional video for the new A30, we skinned an Xbox as a part of the creative in the video,” a Logitech spokesperson said in an email Friday. “This is not a new, unannounced product. We apologize for the inconvenience we may have caused.”

Both companies are working with Nvidia on a new portable device. Logitech revealed its G Cloud Gaming Handheld on Wednesday. The company designed the portable with Microsoft and Nvidia to work with cloud-based gaming services from the two companies: Xbox Cloud Gaming and GeForce Now. Preorders for the G Cloud Gaming Handheld are open, and it will be released on Oct. 18 for $300.

Microsoft released Xbox Series X in November 2020 and has largely stayed with the same black color. There have been several special editions of the console coming in different colors and designs such as the Halo Infinite edition, SpongeBob Square Pants and Leonardo from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
